Supersize me

The Movie, Super size me shows the very disturbing truth of what eating fast food can do to your body. Morgan eats at McDonald for 30 days every meal of the day and manages to gain 10% of his body weight in the first week. Doctors that were taking tests of Morgan had not idea of the effects of fast food could do in the such a short period of time. Morgans doctors said that he was potentially killing his liver and doing other damage to his body that is nonrecoverable. Plenty of people eat at McDonald regally but many have no idea what risk they put themselves in by eating there.

diet of america

Morgan Spurlock is one crazy dude, I go to Mcdonalds every once in a while but its only because its a bit expensive sometimes, I sure hope he made bank off this movie because the tab at McDonald's must have been just shy of a thousand. Not to mention the implicit cost to doing the experiment. Its a good thing he choose McDonald's and not something worst like Five Guys or Chipotle, Day 22 would have happened at day 18 I bet. As for some of the stats McDonald's has posted back then, think about now today 10 years later, Now it would be even worst because there are some many lose weight fast or stick to your every day diet but still lose weight regardless, the results would be horrifying. We can't help the fact that they exist and we can't help the fact that people are addicted to it who are way past gone. The only way we would be able to make a dent in the diet of America is to get rid of most fast food chains,or at least limit the number of restaurants in them, but since we are not going to do this ever the main key is self control. That is the sole thing you need to stay healthy even with all of the temptations we see everyday.

Supersize This

In Morgan Sperlock's documentary Supersize Me he undergoes a 30 day diet change were all he could eat was McDonalds.  This is absolutely crazy and I recommend watching it if you haven't seen it.  The transformation his body makes is insane.  He gains about 10% of his own body weight in only a week.  He also goes to multiple doctors throughout this process and each one says the same thing, that if he doesn't stop his unhealthy high fat diet it will take a major impact on his health.  Despite his doctors' concerns he finishes the 30 day diet and it pretty much dying.  Too learn more, watch the documentary.

Supersize Me

"Super size me" is a documentary on the dangers of fast food eating. It is known that eating too much fast food is not good for your health but to what extent is unknown. Morgan Shurlock takes it upon himself to see what the human body can handle by going to the absolute extreme. He eats only McDonald's for 1 month. Evert meal 3 times a day. The results were stunning. He experienced extreme liver damage and was forced to stop because he was at risk of death. He also experienced depression that is simpler to that of an addiction. HE raised many points that healthy eating starts in the schools and the lunch that students receive can lead to future bad eating choices.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wT3eHA1e-GU i think that this Gatorade commercial is trying to advertise that their product will give you the energy to do one more of your training. And that it will give you the energy need to complete your task to the best of your ability.

weight watchers....really?

The eight watchers commercial during the 2015 super bowl was the biggest mixed message I've seen yet. The main point of their ad was to advertise how good all this food looks and how you should eat all of it or at least eat what you think is good and hey by the way you should go on a diet. I don't want to tell them how to do their job but i don't think that showing the public really good food, based on appearance not nutritional facts, then expecting them to say no to all of it and go on a diet doesn't work. The only reason why i say this is because people who are already fat or at least getting there most of them don't have the discipline to just say no and go on a diet, if that fact where true then 60% of america wouldn't be over weight according to Super size me and other health sites. Not the best approach, maybe showing a world full of fat people, exaggerated of course like the movie Wall-e, then at the end just show the weight watchers logo would have been better.

Superbowl Ads

Avocado from Mexico uses humor to help establish their protect as the best avocado available.  It shows that its product is the best available and the best pick for  your avocado needs. It subliminally shows that other products have issues, for example "off the field issues" is shown to make that product undesirable. So the next time you are in the mood for some guacamole, and need to run to the store to grab some avocado you see this brand and remember the commercial. Your mind remembers it because it is funny and you think to yourself that it is the best product and you buy it.The commercial also shows famous sportscasters with knowledge on the sports, specifically football in this commercial, so they must know what the best avocado is for you.
